Nell’inverno del 1956, visitando il sito sulla
barriera morenica della Serra, John Morrison si era
immediatamente reso conto che lì era già tutto pronto:
a lui sarebbe “soltanto” toccato tirare fuori da quel
predisposto scenario le diciotto buche che madre
natura pareva avervi sotterrato.
Visiting the site in the late winter of 1956 John Morrison
was immediately struck by the fact that there, on
the Serra plateau, everything was already in place.
His task would be to “simply” add a few finishing
touches to the already purpose-made landscape, thus
shaping and giving definition to the 18 holes that
mother nature seemed to have been hiding in the
undergrowth.
