Biella Golf Club Welcome
Dear golfers, companions, International and National Golf Associations members, Authorities, ladies and
gentlemen on behalf of all the Biella Golf Club members, I would like to give all of you my warest welcome to
our Club, on the occasion of the ninth Reply Italian International Under 16 Championhip. From this year on,
the Championship has been named after Teodoro Soldati, the youngest Italian champion, winner of the eight
edition, who prematurely died a few weeks ago . I am sure that many of you had the great pleasure to meet and
know him around Europe and that they will remember him forever.
The championship keeps confirming quality and quantiy of its players; this year we have reached the number
of 185, representing 19 nations.
It is a great pleasure to host the Championship and the whole of you on our Club. It is the site of one of the
more discreet but also one of the greatest golf courses of Italy, the best according to a qualified commission.
We hope the excellent players of the championship will value it this week.
Our staff has prepared course, Club house and facilities in the best possible way.
To all foreign guests: we sincerely hope that all of you will have a pleasant and memorable stay in our country.
To all the golfers, our best wishes to find here the right atmosphere to live together a great competition week.
